It existed in the past and as such can be studied and viewed as a historical and political reality. Peace is also a spiritual pursuit. The spirituality of peace calls us to go beyond self-knowledge and strive for self-acceptance. Because we believe this to be so, the first part of every meeting is spent in reflection.
