The altar servers are the assistants to the priest presider. This ministry is open to all ages. Servers hold liturgical items like the cross, candles, or hold the sacramentary or rites book so that the priest can extend his arms in a prayerful posture.

Serving at St. Toms is a community affair. We love to see young people in grade school serving with their parents. We enjoy having Purdue students from all over the country and the world; share their love of Christ with this community by serving at the altar. Even our older parishioners enjoy working in this ministry.
