VISION
St. Thomas Aquinas is the Roman Catholic presence at Purdue University. We are a vibrant and diverse community of students and resident parishioners. We are welcoming to all, a beacon of peace and God’s love, and a model of Jesus Christ to the local community at Purdue University, the Greater Lafayette area, and the world. We value spiritual and intellectual formation and take action to be a source of church leadership.

MISSION
Echoing the mission of the diocese of Lafayette in Indiana, the mission of the faith community of St. Thomas Aquinas, the Catholic Center at Purdue, is to praise the name of Jesus and follow him by:

• Loving God and neighbor, especially those in need;
• Worshipping God as a faith community in Word and Sacrament;
• Responding to ongoing personal conversion by preaching the good news, confronting the presence of evil and healing the people of God;
• Teaching the Gospel message in the Catholic Tradition;
• Engaging in renewal, outreach, evangelization, and ecumenical cooperation;
• Being a responsible steward of our human and financial resources.

The Parish is commissioned by the diocese to serve the campus ministry needs of the Purdue student population.
